What is AdvanceMD?
AdvanceMD is a program geared for today’s residents and fellows. With AdvanceMD you can get paid up to two years before you complete your training. Additional details are available at www.advanceMDprogram.com.

Does Adventist Health use outside physician recruiters?
Our corporate office does not use outside firms, as we have a dedicated in-house department.

As an international medical graduate living outside the United States, what steps should I take to be considered for a position?
Before a license is granted to practice medicine in the United States, a physician must be certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates.

Can medical students apply for an elective rotation?
Only two of our facilities have medical education programs. Due to existing relationships with local medical schools, they rarely have openings. That said, if you are interested, we recommend that you work directly with an accredited medical school to pursue your options.
